About the Course
This exclusive workshop offers a rare opportunity to learn my internationally taught leatherflower-making techniques in a small-group setting.
Originally developed for my workshops in Florence, Italy, this class was received with great success and is now being offered closer to home in Sydney for a limited number ofstudents.
During this intensive 4-hour workshop, students will go through all stages of creating realistic leather flowers, including preparation of materials, pattern making, shaping, assembling, and professional finishing techniques.
Students will learn how to work with a wide range of Japanese-style flower-making tools and will gain a detailed understanding of how to create elegant and realistic leather roses. The class will also cover ways to modify existing patterns and develop original flower designs.
By the end of the workshop, each student will complete a ready-to-wear leather rose that can be finished as either a brooch or a headpiece.
This class is suitable for both beginners and experienced makers.
All tools and materials necessary for the workshop will be provided.
Student kits are prepared individually in advance, so please let me know your preferred colours when booking:
• one colour for the petals
• one colour for the leaves
