About the Course
Join me for an exclusive Silk Rose Workshop in Japanese Flower-Making Techniques in a relaxed and highly creative small-group setting.
This immersive full-day workshop is a rare opportunity to learn how realistic silk flowers are created using professional flower-making techniques inspired by the Japanese tradition of silk flower art.
Students will learn the complete process of creating an elegant silk rose from scratch, including:
• hand dyeing silk fabric
• shaping petals using professional heated flower-making tools
• assembling and finishing techniques
• working with colour, form, and realistic flower construction
Step by step, students will create a sophisticated silk rose while learning techniques that can later be applied to other silk flowers and future original designs.
By the end of the workshop, each student will complete a ready-to-wear silk rose suitable as either a brooch or a headpiece.
This workshop is suitable for both beginners and experienced makers.
All tools and materials necessary for the workshop will be provided.
