Dario Quintavalle is a milliner dedicated to promoting hat-making as an art form, cultural heritage, and creative expression. For over forty years, he has been designing and crafting hats under his brand Rub & Dub, collaborating with leading designers and fashion houses including Romeo Gigli, Yohji Yamamoto, Borsalino, Dsquared, and Ports1961.

He is also committed to education, teaching millinery in both Italy and the United Kingdom through workshops for professionals, enthusiasts, and students, including at the Scuola di Alta Sartoria TRP at the Teatro Regio in Parma. His approach blends traditional techniques with innovation in materials and design.

Based in the UK since 2016, he creates bespoke hats and fascinators for private clients and the performing arts, including opera productions such as Tosca, Aida, and Don Giovanni.
