The first official World Hat Walk came into existing in 2024, thanks to British Hat Guild members Georgina Abbot and Becky Weaver. There were 21 cities taking part in the Walk.

 

In 2025 it grew to 58 cities across 6 continents.

 

This year there are almost 99 countries taking part in this colourful and joyful event.
